Self-consciousness seems to be an important thing in one’s life. However, some people don’t care and they might be happy, too. Some people go in mess and they say they like it. Some people keep searching - they sometimes find the answer and sometimes not. So, which strategy is the right one?
I am enjoying my own awakening since few weeks. The new question is if I can afford it…
We are so overloaded with things that stick to us. We carry them eveyday and they sometimes remember old days when we were kids. Does it make sense?
Each of us would greatfully welcome anything new. Of course, there might a fear or we might lack a courage. However, we all enjoy new in the deepest dreams. So, how will you make space for everything that will come? Will you keep all the trash, all these unnecessary things and emotions? Or will you join the chaos of removing everything what is not needed anymore?
Everything what’s nice is you. You are the dancer. If you enjoy surroundings, it’s because of you. So, it’s you who changes everything. Each minute, each person, each happening can be as beautiful as you want. You are the master of yourself. You are the master of the world!
Do you like being lirical? Do you enjoy other people being lirical? If yes, shame on you! This is not the world where you should express your emotions. Nor at school, neither at work. People who express emotions, who tend to be lirical, are weak. They can’t work too hard, they can’t reach higher limits, they won’t produce more for their factories. Keep your emotions for yourself and shout them out at your toilet at home. Be tough!
Who’s the guru? Is there anybody in the world who should tell the others how to live their lives? Should people follow some other people just because they talk wise? I have recently watched the documentary “Kūmāré” which gives some answers and ask even more questions.
It might be a truth that each of us carries its own guru inside oneself. So, let your own guru rise and take you into another dimension which can be your dream or simply you yourself. You are your dream!
The Plagiarism - this is something everybody heard about but this is something you do not expect to face everyday. However, it just happened to me…
I have just published a note about Polish producer Danny Bow. A day after I found out that the material has been removed by the label and I read a notice about Danny Bow’s plagiarism. HERE you can read another interesting comment on this matter.
It seems that Danny Bow steals other artists’ music and you cannot call it “sampling”. Here you can listen an example of this plagiarism:
The Cinematic Orchestra feat. Roots Manuva - All things To All Men
Danny Bow - Different Life
My previous post on Danny Bow’s music:
I am becoming more and more suprised by the condition of the electronic music scene in Poland. Not long ago I played and recorded a warm-up session consisting of only Polish cutting-edge tracks.
Now, after several days (and maybe due to the recording I did), I am enjoying more and more new sounds from producers. They can be experienced or they can be unknown and young - it does not matter as the quality becomes extraordinary. If it keeps going like this, I will have to change my plans about spending most of the year abroad.
So, enjoy the song below. If you like it, you can download whole album HERE for free.
White Tiger has been awaken. It has been few years since he was born. No, not born, rather “identified”. There was this beutiful night at Moroccan desert where White Tiger has been recalled. Things have not been the same anymore. (Thank you Nak & Delfin).
I became a Dancing Warrior some days ago. White Tiger, who is living inside me, found another space to express his moves and these moves made my beliefs, dreams and ideas alive again.
Musically… I am still surprised how close is the music of Mike Polarny to the music of White Tiger. I even have a feeling that it was always the same. Since I was a kid I enjoyed my own trips into electronica, rythms, loops, drums and melody. Now, I can’t wait to discover new things on this path…
I played six warm-up sessions at Electronic Beats Festival in Gdańsk on 28th April 2012. I decided to share the music with others - especially with those who came to the festival. As I tried to pack more tracks into 25-minutes-long-warm-up-sessions, I am not 100% satisfied with all the results. However, they might have worked for the dancefloor.
Preparing a clever promomix at home is a different story. You can make some tests, you can repeat the whole mix, too. You do it for listening, so you go into details a lot.
If you want to enjoy all these warm-ups at home, invite some friends, switch off the lights, go up with the volume and make some space for dancing. Put the Electronic Beats logo on the wall. Some mannequins of guys from Jazzanova, Squarepusher, Digitalism, Dillon and James Blake could be useful, too.
It is great when I search for amazing tracks to build my own dj journeys. I can build whatever fairy-tale I want. However, at the same time I am loosing something - the stories told by the musicians themselves.
I enjoy buying albums again. It is becoming my little fetish to look for the whole stories. I feel there is similar need from musicians’ and label owners’ perspectives. They would make a lot of efforts to bring more “full-packettes” to the market, as it makes these productions more unique.
So, enjoy the newest album “Small Hours” by Marbert Rocel. It’s already in my car while I’m driving the streets of Warsaw.
The energy of Mother Earth and Father Sun brings beautiful things at all aspects of my life. Professionally I have the best period since 2 years. It’s not only about the jobs I have been offered. People, who I owe money to, also forget to send me invoices…
It seems that money does not count anymore. It’s all about the energy. About the LOVERY!
